How do I replace the battery on my Remote Control
The rechargeable battery in your Aarcomm Remote Control typically lasts between 5 and 10 years, depending on factors like environmental exposure, recharge cycles, and discharge rate.
You can manage the discharge rate of your remote control by adjusting the Radio Power Settings.
After 2000 full charging cycles, most users notice only a 20% reduction in battery capacity.
If your battery isn't meeting your daily operational needs or if you're seeing a battery error on the remote such as , it might be time for a replacement.
Note that some battery errors are related to the charger. For more details, take a look at this article on Battery Charging Icons.
To keep our IP67 waterproof rating intact, Aarcomm Remote Controls are designed without field-replaceable batteries, so it's best not to open the device for battery replacement or any other service. Doing so might affect the waterproof rating and could even void the warranty.
Aarcomm offers battery replacement services, and it's free for remotes that are still under warranty.
